PLEASE NOTE – THE SMALL GRANTS SCHEME IS CLOSED TO NEW APPLICANTS AT THE MOMENT
In addition to the high and medium priority projects there will also be a small grants fund available for works to historic buildings within the Fraserburgh Central Conservation Area. Grants will be available to private home owners for repair and reinstatement of original architectural features. Grants will be available to:
- Reinstate architectural detail, for example where the appropriate timber doors or windows have been lost.
- Develop and apply best practice, in repair and conservation work.
- Preserve and enhance the character of the area.
- Traditional shopfront repairs and improvements.
Attractive levels of grant are offered to properly preserve the character of historic buildings. A simple application process and contract will apply for grants up to a maximum of £25,000.
