The Faithlie Centre

1, Saltoun Square and the Old Police Station, Kirk Brae

This was one of the key building projects for the scheme and the first to be completed. It saw the complete redevelopment of the former Council Chambers and linked it in to the Old Police Station. An innovative design by Moxon Architects to the rear connects the two buildings.

Scottish Design Awards Winner 2020

Prior to the project the Old Police Station was derelict, and the Council Chambers underused, unloved and needing some serious maintenance carried out, not least to the beautiful lead dome which was letting water in.

The Faithlie Centre now houses the Public Service Point, Registrar and the Enterprise Hub which supports start-up businesses and entrepreneurs in the town.

This building is here to service the community and is a public space at its heart, which we hope will serve the people of Fraserburgh for many years to come.

Did you know you can get married here and use the space for community events?
