Road Closure 5th -10th January – Kirk Brae Improvements

As part of the Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme, plans have been approved to reconstruct the paving and carriageway of Kirk Brae in the spring/summer of 2021.

As part of that process Kirk Brae will be closed to traffic from the 5th to the 10th of January 2021 to permit initial ground investigation work (limited excavations) to take place. This work will be limited to the street’s carriageway/roadway area only. Access to affected properties will be maintained whenever possible.

These planned streetscape improvements are being made for the long-term benefit of Fraserburgh Town Centre and the patience of all road users will be appreciated during preparations and construction work planned for Kirk Brae.

We apologise in advance for any temporary inconvenience this work may cause.
